Past Family Reunions have been a wonderful success!

The descendants of Heinrich and Gretchen Hellbusch gathered at the Broken Arrow Wilderness near Fullerton, Nebraska on Sunday, September 17, 2000.

This Hellbusch family settled in Platte County as well as the Timber Creek area near Belgrade in the1800's and early 1900s. There was one son that stayed in Germany with his family. Relatives representing that family also attended this successful reunion. (Information below regarding Heinrich.)

d: June 27, 1914 in Nance county, NE
m: October 31, 1854 in Oldenburg, Germany
Gretchen Margarethe Schutze b: April 25, 1833 in Oldenburg, Germany
d: May 1890 in Platte County, NE

Wes Landers (L) of Colorado is the oldest cousin on the George Hellbusch family. Werner Hellbusch of Belgrade, (C) son of C.D. Hellbuschis 96 years old. Walter Hellbusch (R) of St. Edward, son of Henry Hellbusch is 90 years old. Wesley-Werner-Walter
Visiting!
It is great just to visit! Mimi (Hellbusch) Hoffman of Belgrade (L), 89, daughter of George Hellbusch, enjoys family conversation with her niece and nephew Jackie Lassek of Omaha and Jim Naeve of Columbus.
Relatives came from near and far!

Loren Hellbusch (L) (Grandson of George Hellbusch) came from Topeka, Kansas, Peter Netz (C) (Descendant of the son of Heinrich Hellbusch, (Johann) that stayed in Germany) came from Germany, and Louis Donley Hellbusch (R) (Grandson of George Hellbusch) came from Portland, Oregon.
